Noida: Noida Authority launched a major anti-encroachment drive on July 30, 2026, demolishing illegal farmhouses and taking action against unauthorized plotting and construction in villages Kondli Bangar and Jhatta under Work Circle-10.

According to an official press release issued by the Noida Authority, the demolition campaign was conducted to curb illegal encroachments on the Authority’s notified land. The drive targeted unauthorized farmhouses constructed in the floodplain area of Kondli Bangar as well as illegal plotting activities in Jhatta village.

During the operation, officials demolished approximately seven illegal farmhouses built in the flood-affected area of Kondli Bangar. The action resulted in the clearance of nearly 10,000 square metres of encroached land.

In a separate operation at Khasra No. 456 in Jhatta village, the Authority, with the support of its police force, removed illegal plotting and unauthorized construction that had been carried out after fresh boundary markings on notified Authority land. The encroached area covered approximately 22,670 square metres.

Overall, the demolition drive freed 32,670 square metres of land from illegal occupation. The Noida Authority said the action was part of its ongoing efforts to prevent unauthorized development and protect government-owned land from encroachment.

The Authority reiterated that strict action will continue against illegal constructions, unauthorized colonies, and encroachments within its notified areas to ensure planned urban development and safeguard public land.
