- Project will improve connectivity between Delhi, Dadri, Noida Expressway, Sector 76, and Sector 37.
- Around 1.5–2 lakh residents of 7X sectors and nearby areas will benefit from smoother traffic movement.
Noida: The Noida Authority has taken another significant step towards improving the city’s road infrastructure. On August 5, 2026, the authority moved forward with the process for constructing a loop ramp on the elevated road connecting Sector 41 Agahpur to Sector 82 NSEZ Metro Station.
The project, estimated to cost ₹51.84 crore, is designed to make traffic movement on the elevated corridor more convenient by providing dedicated entry and exit ramps. Once completed, it is expected to benefit lakhs of daily commuters living in the 7X sectors and surrounding areas.
According to the authority, the loop ramp project will be completed through an open tender process. The financial bids have already been opened, and after the selection of the contractor, the construction is expected to be completed by August 2028.
The Noida Authority had earlier invited bids for the construction of an elevated loop ramp measuring approximately 500 metres in length and 7.5 metres in width.
The ramp will be developed to improve access to and from the existing elevated road, reducing unnecessary detours and making vehicle movement more efficient.
The area surrounding the elevated road is home to nearly 1.5 to 2 lakh residents. At present, a large number of commuters rely on Vishwakarma Marg, resulting in heavy congestion during peak hours.
The new loop ramp has been planned following requests from local residents and public representatives to improve traffic management and reduce pressure on existing roads.
Once operational, the loop ramp will simplify movement for vehicles travelling in multiple directions:
- Vehicles coming from Delhi will be able to access Sector 76 more conveniently through the elevated road.
- Traffic from Sector 76 will get smoother connectivity towards Dadri.
- Vehicles travelling from Dadri can directly access the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway.
- Traffic coming from the Expressway will be able to move towards Sector 37 with greater ease.
This improved connectivity is expected to reduce travel time, minimise traffic bottlenecks, and provide a safer driving experience.
The loop ramp project is expected to deliver several long-term benefits:
- Reduced congestion on Vishwakarma Marg and nearby intersections.
- Faster travel between major sectors and regional road networks.
- Better connectivity with the NSEZ Metro Station.
- Improved road safety through dedicated traffic movement.
- Enhanced daily commuting experience for lakhs of residents in Noida’s western sectors.
