Goa: Bollywood actor Arshad Warsi and his wife Maria Goretti have opened their beautifully restored 150-year-old Portuguese villa, Casa Zen, for tourists in Saligao, North Goa. The five-bedroom heritage bungalow, now available for rent at Rs 75,000 per night (excluding taxes), combines historic architecture with modern comforts, offering travellers a unique luxury stay in one of Goa’s quieter neighbourhoods.

Originally built over a century ago, the property has been carefully renovated while preserving its Portuguese-era charm. Casa Zen features colourful contemporary interiors, a large swimming pool, landscaped gardens, a mango orchard, and rooftop solar panels that add a sustainable touch to the heritage home. According to the property’s booking partner, guests renting the villa receive exclusive access to all five bedrooms, outdoor spaces, and premium amenities.

Sharing the journey on Instagram, Arshad Warsi showcased the people behind the restoration, including carpenters, potters, and craftsmen who helped revive the bungalow.
