Mark Titus Appointed as President of Decorative Business at Nippon Paint India
Nippon Paint India has named Mark Titus as President – Decorative Business, succeeding Mahesh S. Anand, to drive growth, innovation, and market expansion in the country’s decorative paints segment.

Nippon Paint India has announced the appointment of Mark Titus as President – Decorative Business, effective 1 December 2025. In this role, Titus will lead the company’s decorative coatings operations across India and report to Sharad Malhotra, Managing Director of Nippon Paint India Group. He succeeds Mahesh S. Anand in this key leadership position.
Commenting on the appointment, Malhotra said, “We are delighted to have Mark Titus lead our decorative business. His strong leadership and ability to translate market insights into actionable growth strategies will play a crucial role in driving Nippon Paint’s sustainable expansion and strengthening our brand presence in India.”
On assuming the role, Titus said, “I’m honoured to lead Nippon Paint India’s decorative division at this pivotal time. With India emerging as a dynamic market for interiors, renovations, and new developments, my focus will be on collaborating with teams, channel partners, and consumers to enhance our portfolio, deliver meaningful brand experiences, and create long-term value.”

Experience and Role
Titus brings over 20 years of experience across FMCG, beverages, and the paints and waterproofing sectors. Having contributed to Nippon Paint India’s decorative segment growth through product innovation, category expansion, and digital initiatives, he now assumes full responsibility for strategy across product, channel, digital, and brand platforms.
In his new role, Titus will prioritise innovation, partner networks, and value chain optimisation, leveraging Nippon Paint’s global technologies and market expertise to strengthen the company’s footprint in India.
