Mumbai: Indian Cricketer Virat Kohli and Actress Anushka Sharma have purchased a luxury apartment in Mumbai’s Versova for ₹18.29 crore. The transaction, registered on July 21, 2026, involves a premium residence in Godrej Skyshore, a high-end residential project by Godrej Properties in Andheri West.
The apartment has a carpet area of 2,644 sq ft along with 316 sq ft of exclusive space and includes three dedicated parking spaces. Documents show that the buyers paid ₹1.09 crore in stamp duty and ₹30,000 as registration charges. Based on the transaction value, the property was purchased at an estimated ₹69,159 per sq ft, reflecting the premium pricing of luxury homes in Mumbai’s western suburbs.
Godrej Properties has not yet issued an official statement regarding the transaction. The company was contacted for comment, while Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma were also unavailable for a response at the time of publication. Property registration records accessed through Zapkey confirm the details of the sale.
The purchase further strengthens Versova’s reputation as one of Mumbai’s preferred luxury residential destinations. Improved infrastructure, including the proposed Mumbai Coastal Road North project, has increased interest in neighbourhoods such as Versova, Andheri, Juhu, Bandra, and Santacruz. Celebrity investments in premium developments often attract attention from homebuyers and investors, boosting confidence in these micro-markets.
