Ghaziabad: The Ghaziabad Development Authority (GDA) is transforming Madhuban Bapudham into a new industrial hub with plans to establish more than 200 industrial units. The project is expected to create employment for nearly 5,000 young people while supporting industrial growth and economic development in the district. The initiative is being developed as a joint effort between the Uttar Pradesh government and the GDA.

To support the upcoming industries, the authority is expanding essential infrastructure across the area. Development work includes new roads, improved water supply, electricity networks, and sewerage systems to ensure the region is ready for industrial operations. According to officials, civil infrastructure work is progressing quickly, while electrification will be taken up in the next phase.

GDA officials said the project is aimed at creating an industry-friendly ecosystem that can attract investment and encourage businesses to set up manufacturing facilities. They added that once the basic infrastructure is completed, industries will be able to begin operations, generating new employment opportunities for local residents.

These industries are expected to create jobs for both skilled and unskilled workers, giving a boost to local employment and supporting the region’s economic growth. The project is also likely to encourage the development of supporting businesses, logistics services, and commercial activities in nearby areas.

In the coming months, the authority will continue infrastructure development and prepare the site for industrial units. As utilities are completed and industries begin setting up operations, Madhuban Bapudham is expected to emerge as one of Ghaziabad’s key industrial destinations, contributing to long-term employment generation and regional development.
