Noida: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will inaugurate the new Noida Authority administrative headquarters in Sector 96 on June 27. Built at a cost of Rs 390 crore, the new office has been designed to house all Authority departments under one roof, making it easier for residents to access government services. Located close to the Noida Expressway, the complex is expected to improve connectivity and administrative efficiency.

The project was originally launched in 2016 but faced delays due to the Covid-19 pandemic and the blacklisting of the original contractor. Officials said the new headquarters will replace the Authority’s scattered offices across different sectors, allowing citizens to complete multiple official tasks at a single location.

The revised design now includes two towers of four and eight floors spread over six acres, replacing the earlier proposal of 18 and nine-storey towers.

According to Noida Authority officials, the move is aimed at improving public convenience and streamlining day-to-day operations. At present, different departments function from separate locations, including the main office in Sector 6, the horticulture department in Sector 39, and offices in Sectors 19 and 20.

The existing Sector 6 office has limited space and inadequate parking, often causing traffic congestion due to roadside parking by visitors.

The new headquarters is expected to significantly improve service delivery by reducing the need for residents to visit multiple offices for different works. Better infrastructure, dedicated parking facilities, and modern office spaces are also expected to enhance employee productivity while providing a more convenient experience for the public.

During his visit to Noida, the Chief Minister is also likely to attend programmes in the Yamuna Expressway region. Officials said foundation stones for several industrial projects may be laid, as the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) has allotted land to 136 companies in recent months, further boosting industrial and economic development in the region.
