  • ₹100 crore investment to build a precast manufacturing facility in Greater Noida

  • Partnership signed with Elematic India for advanced concrete technology

  • New plant expected to reduce construction timelines by nearly 30%

Greater Noida: Real estate developer Gaurs Group has announced plans to invest ₹100 crore to establish a precast manufacturing plant in Greater Noida, aiming to strengthen its construction capabilities and accelerate project delivery.

The company said the investment is part of a backward integration strategy, allowing it to manufacture key structural components in-house and improve overall construction efficiency.

To implement advanced precast technology, Gaurs Group has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Elematic India, a subsidiary of the Finland-based Elematic Group, which specializes in precast concrete solutions. The agreement was signed on February 19, 2026, in the presence of Finland’s Prime Minister Petteri Orpo and Finland’s Ambassador to India Kimmo Lahdevirt.

The agreement was formalised between Veshesh Gaur, Director of Gaurs Group, and Chander Dutta, Managing Director of Elematic India, along with Teppo Voutilainen, CEO of Elematic Oyj, Finland.

The upcoming facility will be developed on a 5-acre site in Greater Noida and will manufacture advanced precast concrete elements such as slabs, columns, beams, and walls. These components will be produced in a controlled factory environment and later transported to construction sites for installation.

According to the company, the plant is expected to become operational within six months.

Precast construction technology enables developers to manufacture building components off-site and assemble them at the project location. This process improves quality control, reduces material wastage, and significantly shortens construction timelines.

Gaurs Group expects the new facility to reduce project timelines by nearly 30 percent, making it easier to deliver large residential projects faster.

Alongside the new plant, Gaurs Group has also placed an advance order worth ₹150 crore with Jindal Elematic in Alwar. The order includes 45,000 modular bathroom units and 10,000 kitchen pods, which will be used in the company’s ongoing and upcoming residential projects.

Commenting on the initiative, Veshesh Gaur said that modern construction technologies are becoming increasingly important as real estate projects grow larger and more complex.

He added that the partnership with Elematic will allow the company to integrate advanced precast manufacturing into its construction processes, helping improve quality control, construction efficiency, and project timelines.

Gaurs Group is one of the leading real estate developers in Delhi-NCR, known for building large townships, residential communities, and commercial developments. The new precast manufacturing facility is expected to support the company’s expanding project pipeline across the region.

Industry experts believe such investments in modern construction technology will play a key role in helping developers deliver projects faster and maintain better construction quality in India’s rapidly growing real estate market.
