The Department of Stamp and Registration, Government of Uttar Pradesh, has issued an important notice to the public informing that its official online portal igrsup.gov.in will undergo server migration to a new system.
Due to this scheduled technical transition, all online services related to property registration and related applications will remain temporarily unavailable from November 8, 2025 (Saturday) to November 11, 2025 (Tuesday) — a total of four days.
Reason for the Server Migration
According to the official statement, the decision has been taken to upgrade the server infrastructure for improved performance and efficiency. With a growing number of users and an increasing load on the existing system, the department aims to provide a smoother and more reliable online experience.
During this period, technical teams will perform essential tasks including data migration, server maintenance, and system testing to ensure a successful transition.
Services to Be Affected
The department has clarified that all online operations through the IGRSUP portal will be suspended during the mentioned period. The following services will remain temporarily inactive:
- Online registration of property documents (Deeds)
- Submission of property-related applications
- e-Stamp related activities
- Appointment booking and registration services
In addition, Sub-Registrar Offices across the state will not be able to complete any property registration (Registration) work during this period due to the unavailability of online connectivity with the main server.

Citizens planning to register property or submit any online documents during these dates are advised to complete their work before November 8 or wait until after November 11.
Applicants who already have scheduled registration appointments within these dates should reschedule their visits to avoid inconvenience. The department has urged users to cooperate and plan accordingly.
Once the portal is reactivated on the new server, users can expect faster response times, improved stability, and better data security. The department believes this upgrade will significantly enhance the overall user experience.
The department has expressed regret for the temporary inconvenience but emphasized that this short-term disruption is aimed at long-term improvement and transparency in online registration services.
Notice Displayed on the Official Portal
A detailed notice has been displayed prominently on the official website — igrsup.gov.in — informing users about the downtime and migration schedule. It also mentions that no online registration, application submission, or data entry will be possible during the transition period, as the technical team will be engaged in backup and migration tasks.
