Pune: Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor has leased his luxury apartment at Trump Towers in Pune for a total rental value of approximately ₹1.75 crore over three years. The transaction highlights the rental potential of premium residential properties in Pune’s upscale neighbourhoods.
Located in the Yerwada area near Kalyani Nagar, the apartment has a carpet area of approximately 6,094 square feet and comes with three dedicated car parking spaces. The lease covers the period from September 20, 2026, to September 19, 2029. The starting monthly rent has been fixed at ₹4,63,050, with a 5% increase scheduled each year.
Property registration records indicate that Ranbir Kapoor purchased the Pune apartment for more than ₹11 crore in 2015. The property is part of Trump Towers, a premium residential development created through a collaboration between the Trump Organisation and Pune-based Panchshil Realty.
The project, located in Kalyani Nagar, comprises two towers with 23 floors each and a total of 46 single-floor apartments. Its location and large apartment layouts place it within Pune’s luxury housing segment, which caters to buyers and tenants seeking spacious homes in established urban neighbourhoods.
The Pune lease is part of the actor’s broader real estate activity across India. According to property registration records accessed by CRE Matrix, Kapoor acquired a 2,134 sq ft land parcel in The Sarayu, a project by The House of Abhinandan Lodha, in May 2026 for ₹3.31 crore. The land is situated along the banks of the Sarayu River.
He also purchased four land parcels covering approximately 25 acres in Pune’s Mulshi taluka for ₹16.42 crore, according to the same report. These transactions reflect his investments across residential property and land assets.
In another rental transaction, Ranbir Kapoor leased his 2,460 sq ft apartment in Mumbai’s Pali Hill area for ₹11 lakh per month in May 2026. The five-year agreement reportedly included a 5% annual rent escalation and a security deposit of ₹45 lakh. He had purchased that apartment in 2016 for ₹35 crore.
The registered agreement sets out a three-year lease, with the tenancy scheduled to continue until September 2029. The agreed annual escalation will determine the rent payable in subsequent years, subject to the terms of the contract.
