Sonu Nigam Buys Two Andheri West Offices for ₹16 Crore

Playback singer Sonu Nigam has expanded his Mumbai commercial property portfolio with two Andheri West office units worth ₹16 crore, following another purchase in the same building.

  • Sonu Nigam bought two Andheri West commercial units for ₹16 crore.
  • The properties together measure nearly 3,886 sq ft and include four parking spaces.
  • His total purchases in the same Aston building have now reached ₹17 crore.

Playback singer Sonu Nigam has purchased two commercial office units in Mumbai’s Andheri West for ₹16 crore, according to property registration documents accessed by CRE Matrix. The transaction, registered on August 6, 2026, involves two units on the first floor of the Aston building in Sundervan Complex on Lokhandwala Road.

The properties have a combined carpet area of 3,885.77 sq ft and include four car parking spaces in the building’s basement stack-parking system. The deal involved Singular Health Private Limited as the seller. Stamp duty on the ₹16 crore transaction was ₹96 lakh.

The ₹16 crore acquisition is not Nigam’s first purchase in the Aston building. On the same date, August 6, 2026, he also purchased a 258.33 sq ft commercial unit on the ground floor of the building for ₹1 crore from the same seller.

That earlier transaction attracted ₹6 lakh in stamp duty and a registration fee of ₹30,000. With both purchases taken together, Nigam has now acquired three commercial units in the Aston building for a combined ₹17 crore, covering approximately 4,144 sq ft of carpet area.

The registered documents indicate that the cooperative society associated with the building had issued a no-objection certificate for the transaction. A July 2026 letter included in the registration paperwork records the society’s approval for the sale.

The property’s ready-reckoner value mentioned in the pre-registration documentation was approximately ₹11.94 crore. This was lower than the ₹16 crore consideration stated in the registered agreement, indicating that the transaction was recorded at a premium to the ready-reckoner valuation.

The Andheri purchases add to a series of property-related transactions linked to Nigam in Mumbai and Maharashtra. Earlier in 2026, he sold several land parcels in Karjat.

In April, he reportedly sold multiple parcels covering more than 1.9 hectares for a combined ₹1.95 crore. A month later, in May, another parcel measuring around 1.067 hectares was sold for ₹95 lakh, according to property registration records accessed by CRE Matrix.

Nigam has also had exposure to Mumbai’s commercial office market through leasing activity. In 2025, he was reported to have leased a 4,257 sq ft commercial office at Trade Centre in Mumbai’s Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) for five years, with the total rental commitment reported at more than ₹12.61 crore.

The latest purchases strengthen Sonu Nigam’s presence in Mumbai’s commercial real estate market, particularly in Andheri West. The combined ₹17 crore investment in the Aston building gives him ownership of multiple commercial units within the same property, while his earlier transactions show continued activity across both commercial and land assets.
