Noida Authority Clears 1,200 Sq Metres of Encroached Land in Gulawali Village

Noida: The Noida Authority has cleared around 1,200 square metres of encroached land in Gulawali village, taking action against unauthorised construction on Khasra No. 695. The demolition was carried out by the Authority’s Work Circle 10 team with police support as part of an ongoing drive against illegal encroachments in Noida.
The action was conducted after an inspection identified unauthorised occupation and construction on land falling within the Noida Authority’s notified area. Officials reached the site with police personnel and used a JCB to remove the illegal structures, restoring approximately 1,200 square metres of land. The move is significant as the Authority continues to monitor its notified areas to prevent unauthorised construction and occupation.
The operation was carried out under the direction of Noida Authority Chief Executive Officer Krishna Karunesh. Officials from Work Circle 10, along with the police, inspected the area and acted against the encroachments found at the site. Authority officials have reiterated that illegal occupation of land under its jurisdiction will not be permitted.
The demolition has resulted in the recovery of a sizeable parcel of land in Gulawali. The action also signals continued enforcement against unauthorised construction on both acquired and unacquired land within the Authority’s notified area. Such drives are aimed at preventing further illegal development and protecting Authority-controlled land.
The Noida Authority has indicated that monitoring of land within its notified area will continue. Officials said that if fresh cases of encroachment or unauthorised construction are identified, action will be taken according to the applicable rules. The Authority has also warned against attempting to occupy or develop its land illegally.
