Noida First Taj Hotel Rs 1,000 Cr Project in Sector 129

Noida: The city is set to enter India’s premium hospitality map as Gulshan Group announces a Rs 1,000 crore investment to develop Noida’s first Taj-branded hotel and residences in Sector 129 along the Noida Expressway.

The project, being developed in partnership with Indian Hotels Company Ltd (IHCL), will feature a 150-key luxury hotel, 74 serviced apartments, and an exclusive penthouse. Construction has already commenced, with completion targeted within the next five years.

Positioned as a landmark development, the project will not only be the first Taj hotel in Noida but also the tallest under the Taj brand, highlighting the city’s growing appeal in the luxury segment. While the hotel and penthouse will remain with the developer, the ultra-luxury residences are expected to generate more than Rs 2,000 crore in revenue.

Each serviced apartment is designed with expansive layouts of approximately 7,500 sq ft, targeting high-net-worth buyers seeking premium living spaces in NCR. The development reflects the rising demand for branded residences that combine hospitality services with residential comfort.

IHCL, a Tata Group company, will operate and manage the project. Its MD and CEO, Puneet Chhatwal, stated that increasing affluence and India’s strong global economic position are driving demand for luxury hotels and branded homes. He added that the Noida project is expected to set a new benchmark for integrated luxury living in the region.

Gulshan Group also highlighted that Noida has seen consistent growth in the luxury housing segment, making it a strategic location for such high-end developments. The developer has already delivered more than 10 residential and commercial projects across Delhi-NCR.

With this project, Noida is steadily transforming into a hub for luxury real estate and branded residences, attracting both investors and end-users looking for premium lifestyle offerings.
