Shapoorji Pallonji Real Estate (SPRE), the real estate arm of the Shapoorji Pallonji Group, has stepped into the plotted development segment with the launch of its first housing plot project in Pune, eyeing a revenue potential of nearly Rs 600 crore.
The project, named Treetopia, marks a strategic expansion for SPRE, which has traditionally focused on group housing developments. Spread across 105 acres, the premium plotted community will comprise 483 residential plots, catering to both end users and long-term investors.
Located close to the upcoming Purandar International Airport, the project is positioned to benefit from ongoing and proposed infrastructure upgrades in the region. Plot sizes range between 2,000 and 6,000 square feet, offering flexibility to buyers looking to build customised homes or invest in land appreciation.
Commenting on the launch, Sumit Sapru, CEO of Shapoorji Pallonji Real Estate, said the move aligns with shifting homebuyer preferences. He noted that growing interest in plotted developments has prompted the company to diversify its residential portfolio and enter this fast-emerging segment.
Sapru also highlighted the potential of the Pune Growth Corridor, stating that large infrastructure projects are reshaping the region’s development outlook and creating new high-growth micro-markets for residential real estate.
SPRE currently has a development potential of over 130 million square feet and maintains a presence across major Indian cities, including Mumbai, Pune, Bengaluru, Gurugram, and Kolkata. With Treetopia, the company aims to strengthen its footprint in Pune while tapping into the rising demand for premium residential plots.
