For the past 3 months, residents of Antriksh Golf View 2, Noida Sector 78 have been facing a serious water shortage. Families living in the society say they are forced to depend on private tankers every day because of irregular and low water supply from the main lines.
The main reason for the crisis is the developer’s failure to get enough water connections from the Noida Authority. The society has 1,055 flats spread across 12 towers, but the builder has water connections for only 650 units. The remaining flats are left without proper supply, causing very low water pressure and erratic distribution.
Residents say the builder has been providing water through private tankers but is charging the cost from residents through inflated maintenance bills. Many flat owners have also received messages asking for ₹29,500 each for new water connections — a move that has upset the residents even more.

Builder Acknowledges the Problem
Ramesh Arora, Project Head at Colorful Estate Pvt. Ltd., which manages the society, admitted that there is a shortage but blamed it on limited supply from the Noida Authority.
“We currently have water connections for 650 units whose owners have paid for them. To meet the shortage, we are arranging tanker water. We will apply for additional water connections soon, which should be approved within two weeks. Residents will be charged accordingly,” he said.
Noida Authority Responds
After several complaints were filed on the Integrated Grievance Redressal System (IGRS), officials from the Noida Authority inspected the site.
Ashok Verma, Senior Manager in the Water Department, said:
“There is no shortage from our side. The current supply is for 650 flats, which is the sanctioned capacity. Once the developer applies for more connections, we will increase the supply accordingly.”
Residents Demand Permanent Solution
People living in Antriksh Golf View 2 say the builder should have arranged proper water connections before giving possession of flats. They have urged both the developer and the Noida Authority to take quick action to solve the problem.
For now, families continue to spend extra money every month on tanker and drinking water while struggling to secure a basic necessity that should have been ensured years ago.
