Noida: State-owned NBCC (India) Ltd has sold 111 residential flats at Aspire Silicon City in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, through an e-auction for a total value of approximately ₹416.53 crore. The sale was disclosed by the company in a regulatory filing on Tuesday.

The auction is significant as NBCC is closely involved in the redevelopment and completion of stalled Amrapali housing projects in Noida and Greater Noida. The company will receive a 1% marketing fee on the total value of the flats sold.

The 111 residential units are located in Aspire Silicon City, Noida, and were offered to buyers through an online auction process. Based on the reported sale value, the transaction represents another major housing sale handled under NBCC’s involvement in the region.

NBCC has been working on stalled Amrapali projects following directions from the Supreme Court. For this purpose, the Amrapali Stalled Projects Investments Reconstruction Establishment (ASPIRE) was created to oversee the completion of the delayed projects through NBCC.

In its regulatory filing, NBCC said that it had sold 111 residential units at Aspire Silicon City in Noida through an e-auction, with the total sale value standing at approximately ₹416.53 crore.

The company will earn a marketing fee equivalent to 1% of the sale value from the transaction.

NBCC’s role extends beyond individual property sales. The company was tasked with completing around 38,000 stalled flats and handing them over to Amrapali homebuyers under the Supreme Court’s directions.

In addition, NBCC is currently developing more than 10,000 apartments across five ongoing Amrapali projects in Greater Noida. These developments became possible after the local authority permitted construction on previously unused land parcels.

The latest auction therefore highlights the continuing activity around stalled housing projects in Noida and Greater Noida and NBCC’s broader role in bringing these developments forward.

NBCC is expected to continue its work on the remaining stalled Amrapali projects while progressing with new construction on available land parcels. The company will also continue property sales and other project-related activities as part of the larger effort to complete housing developments and deliver units to eligible homebuyers.
