DDA Property Auction Generates ₹1,321 Crore from 142 Properties

The Delhi Development Authority's latest e-auction attracted strong investor interest, generating nearly three times the reserve price and reinforcing confidence in Delhi's real estate market.

New Delhi: DDA (Delhi Development Authority) has generated ₹1,321 crore through the successful auction of 142 properties and land assets across the national capital. The mega e-auction, the results of which were announced on Wednesday, witnessed strong participation from investors, businesses, and institutions.

The outcome highlights growing demand for real estate opportunities in Delhi and reflects increasing investor confidence in the city’s property market.

The auction included a diverse range of assets such as residential, commercial, industrial, and institutional plots, along with licence fee-based properties located across different parts of Delhi. According to DDA, the total highest bid value reached ₹1,321.21 crore, compared to a cumulative reserve price of ₹480.38 crore. This represents nearly three times the reserve value and a premium of approximately 175% over the base price.

In an official statement, DDA said the e-auction was conducted through its transparent and technology-driven digital platform, ensuring fair competition and efficient price discovery. The authority noted that the process created opportunities for a broad range of stakeholders while maintaining transparency throughout the bidding process.

The strong response is being viewed as a positive signal for Delhi’s real estate sector. Higher-than-expected bids indicate healthy demand for land and property assets, which could encourage further investment and development activities across the city. The successful auction also supports ongoing efforts to strengthen Delhi’s position as a major destination for business, housing, and institutional development.
