  • Her parents acquired an adjoining flat valued at ₹10.91 crore.
  • The three reported property purchases by the family in the same development total approximately ₹44.1 crore.

Mumbai: Actress Anushka Sharma and her parents, Ashima and Ajay Kumar Sharma, have reportedly purchased two adjoining apartments worth a combined ₹25.8 crore in Versova, Mumbai. The transactions add to the family’s property holdings in the city and involve a residential development by Godrej Properties that is currently under construction. The project is expected to be completed by mid-2031, according to the information reported about the purchases.

Anushka’s apartment is spread across approximately 2,150 square feet and has a reported transaction value of ₹14.89 crore. Her parents’ adjoining residence measures around 1,575 square feet and is valued at ₹10.91 crore. Together, the two properties represent a significant investment in Mumbai’s premium residential market.

The latest purchases follow an earlier acquisition by Anushka Sharma and her husband, Indian cricketer Virat Kohli, in the same residential development. The couple reportedly purchased another apartment for ₹18.29 crore.

With the two newly acquired flats included, the reported combined value of the three apartments stands at approximately ₹44.1 crore. The purchases highlight continued interest in premium residential properties in Mumbai, particularly among high-net-worth buyers seeking homes in established urban locations.

Beyond Versova, Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli have reportedly invested in residential properties across several locations in India and abroad. Their known property holdings include a luxury residence in Worli, Mumbai, reportedly valued at ₹34 crore, and a family home in Gurugram.

The couple also owns a villa in Alibag at Avās Living, a luxury residential community. The four-bedroom property was designed by South African architecture firm SAOTA and has been featured in architectural and lifestyle coverage. The villa combines contemporary design with elements inspired by the Konkan region and is situated on a plot measuring approximately 10,000 square feet.

Earlier, the couple reportedly purchased more than five acres of land in Alibag for around ₹37 crore, adding to their real estate investments outside Mumbai’s urban residential market.

The reported transactions reflect the continued presence of affluent buyers in Mumbai’s premium housing segment. Locations such as Versova offer access to established residential neighbourhoods while attracting investment in new developments.

Purchasing adjoining apartments may also allow families to maintain separate living spaces within the same residential complex. However, the actual market value of these properties will depend on factors such as project completion, location, amenities and prevailing property prices.

The Godrej Properties development where the apartments are located is reportedly under construction, with completion expected by mid-2031. The buyers’ final possession timelines will depend on the project’s construction progress and the applicable approvals.
