  • Online registration is open from August 9 to September 9, 2026.

  • Eligible applicants will receive plots through a transparent lottery instead of direct allotment.

Lucknow: The Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) has opened online registration for 460 residential plots in the fifth phase of the Anant Nagar Scheme. Applications began on August 9, 2026, and interested applicants can register online until September 9, 2026. The plots are located in Ashish Khand, and allotment will be conducted through a lottery.

The latest phase offers plots in three sizes 112.5 square metres, 162 square metres and 200 square metres. The 112.5-square-metre category accounts for the majority, with 425 plots available. There are 12 plots measuring 162 square metres and another 23 plots of 200 square metres. The lottery-based system is expected to give eligible applicants an equal opportunity to secure a plot.

The entire application process will be conducted online. Applicants will first have to obtain the registration booklet through the LDA’s designated registration portal and then submit their application along with a registration amount equivalent to 5% of the estimated plot value.

According to LDA orders issued by Vice President Prathamesh Kumar, eligible applicants will be included in the lottery after the registration process closes. The plots will not be allotted on a first-come, first-served basis.

The fifth phase comes after substantial participation in the earlier stages of the Anant Nagar project. Around 1,700 plots have already been allotted through lotteries across the first four phases.

More than 35,000 applicants reportedly participated in these earlier phases after paying the required registration amount. Given the previous response, the LDA is likely to see strong demand for the 460 plots being offered in the latest phase.

The Anant Nagar scheme is being developed along Mohan Road over an area of approximately 785 acres. The LDA plans to create a large residential development designed to eventually accommodate around 1.5 lakh people.

The project is being planned with a grid-based road network and underground electricity infrastructure. The development plan also includes a major EduTech City component, while around 130 acres have been earmarked for parks and green spaces.

Beyond residential plots, the project is being developed around modern infrastructure and civic amenities. These include wider roads, water supply systems, underground power cables, EV charging facilities, community centres and solid waste management infrastructure.

The plan also incorporates a zero-liquid-discharge approach, reflecting the authority’s focus on more sustainable urban infrastructure.

Applicants interested in the fifth phase should complete their registration before the September 9 deadline and ensure that all required information and payments are submitted correctly through the online process.

After registration closes, the LDA will verify eligible applications before conducting the lottery for plot allotment. With only 460 plots available compared with the large number of applicants seen in previous phases, prospective buyers should keep their registration documents and payment details ready and carefully follow the authority’s instructions.
