Panchsheel Greens-2 Residents Protest Over Repeated Dog-Bite Cases

Greater Noida: Residents of Panchsheel Greens-2 in Greater Noida West staged a peaceful march on Sunday following a series of alleged dog-bite incidents in the society. The protest was organised to draw attention to growing concerns over stray dogs and demand immediate measures to improve residents’ safety. The issue has become a matter of concern for families, particularly those with children and elderly members.

According to residents, several dog-bite cases have been reported in the society in recent days. They said the maintenance team and concerned officials of the Greater Noida Authority had already been informed about the situation, but residents believe that effective action has not yet been taken. Following another reported incident, residents gathered in large numbers and marched peacefully within the society.

After the march, residents submitted a written complaint to the maintenance team, seeking immediate intervention. They have called for practical measures to prevent stray dogs from creating a safety risk inside the residential complex and urged the concerned authorities to address the issue before another serious incident occurs.

Residents have also raised allegations that some individuals are bringing stray dogs into the society and providing them shelter. They have demanded that such cases be examined and that appropriate action be taken if the allegations are found to be true.

The residents said the repeated incidents have created anxiety among people living in the society. They are particularly concerned about children, senior citizens and other residents who may encounter stray dogs while walking through common areas.
