Mumbai: Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan has leased three floors of a commercial building in Mumbai’s Andheri West to nutrition company TruNativ F&B Private Limited. The agreement, registered on August 7, 2026, covers around 8,428 sq ft of office space in the Signature building on Link Road, Oshiwara. The lease officially began on August 15, 2026.
According to property registration documents accessed by Zapkey, TruNativ will pay a monthly rent of ₹33 lakh for the premises. Based on the carpet area, the rental works out to roughly ₹392 per sq ft per month. The agreement runs for five years, making the deal significant for Mumbai’s commercial real estate market as well as Bachchan’s growing rental property portfolio.
The leased premises comprise three upper floors of the Signature building, with a combined carpet area of approximately 8,428 sq ft. The agreement also gives the tenant exclusive access to nine designated parking spaces within the building.
TruNativ has provided a security deposit of ₹1.98 crore under the agreement. The rent will increase by 5% every year during the lease period. Taking the agreed rental structure into account, the total rental value over five years is estimated at around ₹21.88 crore.
Neither Amitabh Bachchan nor TruNativ F&B Private Limited was immediately available for comment on the transaction.
The latest lease further strengthens Bachchan’s presence in Mumbai’s commercial property market. The actor has previously monetised office assets through long-term leases with established companies.
In another notable transaction, Bachchan leased four office units in Mumbai’s Lotus Signature building to Warner Music Pvt Ltd. The deal, reported in 2023, involved a monthly rent of ₹17.30 lakh and included 12 dedicated parking spaces. That lease commenced in March 2024.
Bachchan’s real estate activity is not limited to Mumbai. The actor has also been building a property portfolio in Ayodhya, a city that has attracted increasing interest from investors following its growth as a religious tourism destination.
In March 2026, Bachchan purchased a 2.67-acre land parcel in Ayodhya for ₹35 crore from The House of Abhinandan Lodha (HoABL). The developer announced the transaction on March 6, describing it as his third investment with the company in the city.
The Andheri lease will provide Bachchan with a steady commercial rental stream over the five-year agreement, while TruNativ gains access to a sizeable office space in one of Mumbai’s prominent commercial locations.
With rental values, corporate leasing activity and demand for premium office space remaining important indicators of Mumbai’s commercial property market, high-value transactions involving prominent property owners continue to attract attention from real estate investors.
