New Delhi: Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has expanded his real estate portfolio by purchasing the second and third floors of a residential building in Delhi’s prestigious Panchsheel Park for Rs 37 crore. The deal is significant because it reunites the actor with the home where he and Gauri Khan lived shortly after their marriage before relocating to Mumbai to build his acting career. The purchase also gives the Khan family complete ownership of the property.

The property is built on a 1,200-square-yard plot (around 10,800 square feet) in one of South Delhi’s most sought-after residential neighbourhoods. According to reports, the land value is estimated at approximately Rs 34,260 per square foot. The family already owned the building’s ground floor and basement, while the latest acquisition includes the second and third floors, making the entire property part of the Khan family’s holdings.

While Shah Rukh Khan and his representatives have not officially commented on the transaction, reports indicate that the purchase is both a strategic real estate investment and an emotionally significant acquisition. The residence is closely linked to the couple’s early married life, making it one of the actor’s most cherished properties.

The acquisition further strengthens Shah Rukh Khan’s premium real estate portfolio, which includes luxury properties in Mumbai and overseas. It also highlights the growing demand for high-value residential properties in established neighbourhoods like Panchsheel Park, where limited inventory and prime location continue to attract affluent buyers and investors.
