Noida: Noida Authority’s New Office in Sector 96 is ready for inauguration. The modern complex, built at an estimated cost of ₹390 crore, will be officially inaugurated on April 17, coinciding with the city’s Foundation Day celebrations.

The event is expected to be led by Yogi Adityanath, who has been invited to mark the occasion. This year is particularly significant as Noida completes 50 years since its establishment in 1976, celebrating its Golden Jubilee.

Strategically located near the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway, the new headquarters has been designed to improve accessibility and streamline governance. Once operational, it will bring multiple departments under one roof, reducing delays and making public services more efficient for residents and businesses.

Officials said the inauguration will be part of a broader set of development activities planned for the Foundation Day. Along with the headquarters, other projects such as a Clock Tower near GIP Mall are also expected to be unveiled, although the final list is still being prepared.

At the same time, the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) is preparing for its own milestone. Founded in 2001, YEIDA will celebrate its Silver Jubilee this year. As part of the celebrations, the foundation stone for the much-awaited Film City project will be laid on April 24.

According to officials, YEIDA is planning a three-day event around the Film City site, with detailed schedules currently being finalised.

Senior officials from both authorities highlighted that these developments reflect the region’s rapid urban growth and infrastructure push. The new headquarters, in particular, is expected to play a key role in improving administrative efficiency and enhancing citizen services in Noida.
