Noida: Suraksha Group completes nearly 6,000 Jaypee Wish Town homes in one of the biggest turnaround stories in India’s real estate sector, offering long-awaited relief to more than 20,000 homebuyers who had been stuck in uncertainty for years.
The company announced that a total of 5,989 residential units across 63 towers at Jaypee Wish Town have now been constructed. Out of these, 3,135 flats in 31 towers have already received Occupancy Certificates (OCs), allowing buyers to move ahead with possession and registration. Applications for another 2,854 units in 32 towers have also been submitted and are expected to be approved in the coming months.
The announcement that Suraksha Group completes nearly 6,000 Jaypee Wish Town homes is being seen as a major breakthrough in a project that once symbolised India’s housing crisis. Jaypee Wish Town, located along the Noida–Greater Noida Expressway, had remained stalled for several years after the financial collapse of Jaypee Infratech, leaving thousands of families without their promised homes despite full payments.
From insolvency to revival
The project entered India’s insolvency framework under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (IBC), making it one of the largest real estate cases in the country. Homebuyers were recognised as financial creditors, and after years of litigation and delays, Suraksha Group took over Jaypee Infratech in 2024 under a court-approved resolution plan.
Since then, Suraksha Group completes nearly 6,000 Jaypee Wish Town homes through an aggressive construction and delivery programme aimed at restoring confidence among affected buyers and lenders alike.

Which towers have received approvals
The company confirmed that Occupancy Certificates have been granted for 31 towers spread across four residential developments inside Jaypee Wish Town.
The Kosmos project leads with 11 towers and 1,078 units approved. This is followed by Klassic, where six towers with 674 homes have received clearances. At Kensington Boulevard Apartments, nine towers covering 818 units are now OC-ready. Meanwhile, Kensington Park Apartments and Kensington Park Heights together account for five towers and 565 units that have secured approvals.
With these clearances, thousands of buyers are now eligible to complete registration and take possession, another sign that Suraksha Group completes nearly 6,000 Jaypee Wish Town homes not just on paper but also in legal and regulatory terms.
More homes to follow
In addition, the company has applied for Occupancy Certificates for 32 more towers across several residential clusters including Kosmos, Klassic, Kensington Boulevard Apartments, Kensington Park Apartments, Kensington Park Heights, and Pebble Court. These towers together represent 2,854 homes, and approvals are expected over the next few months.
Once these are cleared, Suraksha Group completes nearly 6,000 Jaypee Wish Town homes will be followed by thousands more entering the handover stage, accelerating the project’s final delivery phase.
Construction despite regulatory hurdles
Despite facing recurring challenges such as GRAP restrictions, which limit construction during winter due to pollution control norms, work has continued at full speed.
Jash Panchamia, Executive Director of Jaypee Infratech Limited, said the company remains committed to delivering all towers as per the resolution plan. He pointed out that the completion of 63 towers and the ongoing OC approvals show the company’s focus on execution and timelines.
