Reliance MET City Launches 100-Acre Mixed-Use Project ‘Metropolis’ in Haryana
Reliance MET City unveils Metropolis, a 100-acre integrated township in Jhajjar offering residential and industrial plots with ready infrastructure, strategic NCR connectivity, and strong investment potential for buyers and businesses.

Residential plots priced between Rs 99,000 and Rs 1.10 lakh per sq yard
-
56 acres allocated for industrial use in Phase 1
-
Located near Delhi border, KMP Expressway, and AIIMS Badsa
Reliance MET City, a wholly owned subsidiary of Reliance Industries Ltd, has launched a 100-acre mixed-use development titled Metropolis by MET City. The project is located in Daryapur village in Jhajjar district and forms part of a larger 140-acre master-planned township.
The newly launched Phase 1 spans approximately 100 acres and is designed to cater to both residential buyers and industrial enterprises looking to operate within a planned urban ecosystem. Of this, around 56 acres have been earmarked for industrial plots, while 42 acres are dedicated to residential plots.
Plot Sizes and Pricing
Metropolis will offer residential plots ranging from 112 to 179 square yards. The pricing has been set between Rs 99,000 and Rs 1.10 lakh per square yard, positioning the development competitively within the National Capital Region (NCR).
The project also includes dedicated industrial plots, making it an attractive proposition for businesses aiming to establish operations within an integrated, infrastructure-ready environment. According to the company, the development is ready to move, allowing both homeowners and enterprises to begin construction immediately.
Strategic Location Advantage
One of the biggest strengths of Metropolis is its location. Situated close to the Delhi border, the project is just five minutes away from the KMP Expressway, offering seamless connectivity to major NCR hubs. It is also near AIIMS Badsa, the upcoming Haryana Orbital Rail Corridor, and the proposed BCCI International Cricket Stadium.
The proximity to Gurugram and other commercial zones enhances its appeal for working professionals and companies seeking well-connected land parcels without the high costs typically associated with central NCR markets.
Vision of an Integrated Ecosystem
Speaking on the launch, Shrivallabh Goyal, CEO and Whole-Time Director of Reliance MET City, emphasized that the development goes beyond a conventional plotted project. He highlighted that the focus is on creating a well-planned ecosystem where residents can live close to their workplaces, reducing commute time while improving quality of life.
The township aims to blend residential living, industrial operations, and future group housing within one cohesive master plan. The emphasis is on sustainable infrastructure, long-term value creation, and future-ready urban planning.
Part of a Larger Smart City
Reliance MET City itself is an 8,250-acre integrated smart city and global manufacturing hub in Jhajjar district. The township currently houses more than 650 companies from 11 countries and supports over 40,000 jobs. This established industrial and employment base adds significant credibility to the new Metropolis development, as buyers are not investing in an isolated project but within a growing economic ecosystem.
Model Economic Township Limited, which is developing the project, is funding it internally and executing construction and infrastructure work in-house. This approach, according to industry experts, may help maintain quality standards and ensure timely delivery.
Why This Launch Matters
The launch of Metropolis reflects a broader trend in NCR real estate where integrated townships with live-work ecosystems are gaining traction. Buyers today are increasingly looking for locations that combine affordability, connectivity, and employment access.
For investors, the project offers entry into a fast-growing industrial corridor backed by a major corporate group. For end-users, it provides the opportunity to build custom homes within a structured township environment.
With infrastructure projects like the Haryana Orbital Rail Corridor in the pipeline and proximity to major healthcare and sporting facilities, the area is expected to witness steady appreciation over time.
