Knauf India Doubles Production Capacity at Khushkhera Manufacturing Plant

Knauf India has expanded its Khushkhera facility in Rajasthan with a new Metal Line, doubling production capacity to meet rising demand for advanced building materials nationwide.

Knauf India has significantly expanded its manufacturing capabilities with the launch of a new Metal Line at its Khushkhera plant in Rajasthan, effectively doubling the facility’s production capacity. The move reflects the company’s continued focus on strengthening local manufacturing and addressing the growing demand for modern building materials across the country.

The new Metal Line was unveiled during Knauf India’s Dealer Engagement Day, a full-day event hosted at the Khushkhera facility. The event brought together dealers, business partners, and company teams from across India, highlighting Knauf’s emphasis on collaboration, transparency, and long-term partnerships.

As part of the programme, attendees were given a guided tour of the manufacturing plant, where they witnessed the upgraded production processes in action. Knauf’s operations and safety teams led the walkthrough, demonstrating the company’s strict safety protocols and commitment to operational excellence.

The newly commissioned Metal Line represents a major upgrade in both scale and technology. Designed to enhance output while maintaining high precision, the system incorporates sensor-based inspection, advanced roll-forming tools, and real-time quality monitoring. These features help ensure consistent product quality, minimise material wastage, and reduce the risk of assembly errors.

Speaking at the inauguration, Sumit Bidani, CEO of Knauf India, described the expansion as a key milestone in the company’s growth journey. He said the new Metal Line reflects Knauf’s commitment to efficiency, innovation, and its people, while also recognising the critical role played by dealers and partners in the company’s success.

The capacity expansion at Khushkhera forms part of Knauf India’s broader strategy to scale up manufacturing operations and improve supply chain efficiency. With increased output, the company aims to better serve the domestic market and support an expanding range of drywall and ceiling solutions, aligning with India’s evolving construction and infrastructure needs.
