Mumbai: Devisha Yadav, wife of Indian cricketer Suryakumar Yadav, has purchased a luxury apartment worth ₹7.18 crore in Mumbai’s eastern suburb of Chembur, further strengthening the family’s growing real estate portfolio in the city.

According to property registration documents accessed through CRE Matrix, the transaction was officially registered on February 20, 2026. The apartment is located in Godrej Sky Terraces, a premium residential project in the Chembur-Deonar micro-market developed by Godrej Properties Limited.

The newly acquired unit measures 140.86 square metres (approximately 1,500 sq ft) and comes with two dedicated car parking spaces. Devisha Yadav paid ₹35.90 lakh towards stamp duty and ₹30,000 as registration charges. As per the agreement, possession of the apartment is scheduled for June 30, 2028.

Third Investment in the Same Project

This purchase marks the third property acquisition by the Yadav family within the same development. In March 2025, the couple bought two additional units on the 17th and 18th floors of the project. Those apartments had a combined carpet area of over 4,200 sq ft and reportedly included six parking spaces. The earlier deal involved stamp duty payments of around ₹1.26 crore.

About the Project

Spread across 1.05 acres in Deonar near Chembur, Godrej Sky Terraces offers 3 BHK and 4 BHK residences. The project has witnessed strong demand over the past year. Between March 2024 and February 2025, it recorded 25 sales transactions amounting to approximately ₹202 crore, with average rates exceeding ₹52,000 per sq ft, according to market data.

The Chembur-Deonar belt has emerged as one of Mumbai’s premium residential corridors due to improved connectivity, planned infrastructure upgrades, and rising demand for spacious luxury homes.

The latest investment underlines the Yadav family’s confidence in Mumbai’s high-end property market, even as Suryakumar Yadav remains focused on leading India in the ongoing T20 World Cup campaign.
