New Delhi: Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has announced the launch of its Karmayogi Awaas Yojana. The scheme introduces 936 newly constructed flats in Narela, aimed exclusively at serving and retired personnel from central and state governments, PSUs, banks, universities, and autonomous bodies.
The announcement, made on the occasion of Ram Navami, highlights DDA’s continued effort to provide accessible and quality housing in the national capital. The flats are located in Pocket-6, Sector A1 to A4, Narela—an area rapidly emerging as a residential and educational hub.
Under the scheme, buyers can avail a 25% discount on the listed prices, making the homes significantly more affordable. The housing options include:
- 1 BHK: 256 units priced at ₹33.51 lakh
- 2 BHK: 448 units priced at ₹75.60 lakh
- 3 BHK: 232 units priced at ₹106.45 lakh
Officials confirmed that bookings will open from March 26, 2026, at 12 noon, and allotments will be done on a first-come, first-served basis, indicating strong demand is expected.
The flats are being promoted as ready-to-move-in, freehold properties, with sample units available for site visits. The entire booking process has been made online to ensure transparency and convenience.
In terms of infrastructure and lifestyle, the project offers several key features, including spacious balconies, ample parking, large common areas, and a community centre or clubhouse. The development is also strategically positioned with excellent connectivity to major routes like the Urban Extension Road (UER II) and GT Karnal Road, with a 40-minute drive to the airport. Additionally, enhanced security arrangements are highlighted, along with proximity to upcoming metro connectivity.
Urban planners note that Narela is gaining traction as a future growth corridor in Delhi, especially with increasing institutional developments and improved connectivity.
With rising property prices across Delhi-NCR, this scheme is expected to attract significant interest from eligible buyers seeking affordable yet well-planned housing options within the capital.
